PETALING JAYA: There is evidence that social media platform TikTok has systematically removed content from Malaysia related to the Israel-Palestine conflict, says communications and digital minister Fahmi Fadzil.
He said this evidence supported the numerous complaints received by his ministry from users that their videos and live broadcasts on the matter had been taken down or restricted, Bernama reported.He added that these included videos of Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s speech during the “Malaysia Stands with Palestine” rally at the Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday.
