WFAN host and former Giants running back Tiki Barber wasn’t too enamored with the fans who hired planes to fly over MetLife Stadium with a harsh message for team ownership amid another dismal season.on the popular New York sports talk station and questioned why it wasn’t Jets fans literally airing their grievances over the state of Gang Green.
“We’ve been talking the last couple of weeks about the Giant fan or troller, cause I don’t know if it’s really a fan, flying aircraft over the stadium,” Barber said with a hint of displeasure in his voice. “You went to the playoffs and won a game two years ago,” Barber continued after co-host Evan Roberts pushed back that they were likely a fan or fans. “What in the hell are you talking about? Now if you want to fly a plane, fly it over the stadium, or at least when the stadium is in use by the team that hasn’t been to the playoffs in 14 years.
“The biggest thing that the Mara family prides itself on is pride in themselves,” the fan told the outlet. “And so, if you’re able to make it more embarrassing, it will further force them to take action.
