Golf superstar Tiger Woods says sorry after an on-course tampon joke prompts backlash.
Tiger Woods made an apology and appeared to make the cut at the Genesis Invitational on Friday, February 17, as a prank gone wrong overshadowed his return to action at his first official PGA Tour event in nearly eight months.
“It was supposed to be all fun and games and obviously it hasn’t turned out that way,” said Woods when asked about the incident after his second round. “If I offended anybody, it was not the case, it was just friends having fun.” “As I said, if I offended anybody in any way, shape or form, I’m sorry. It was not intended to be that way,” said Woods.
