NSTnation: The Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan) in Johor confirmed receiving information of a tiger roaming in a plantation. PERHILITAN
"We received information on this, observation and monitoring are being carried out with the help of the plantation's management.
"The department also plans to capture the tiger, taking into account the safety of the plantation workers and the tiger itself. "Perhaps the tiger's habitat had been disturbed and it is now having difficulty finding food, but the tiger's movements looked a bit odd as it did not appear to be afraid of humans. He said the plantation management had been given advice to take precaution and to not take things into their own hands or attempt to approach the tiger themselves.
Earlier, a 3.01-minute video went viral on social media in which the tiger was spotted by members of the public. However the tiger did not behave in an aggressive manner despite the presence of human beings around it.
