Years later, the pair severed ties. Epstein was accused of stealing millions of dollars from Wexner—allegedly using the money to purchase luxury items and high-end real estate in New Albany, Manhattan, and Palm Beach.Two years later, he pleaded guilty to solicitation of prostitution, including from someone under 18.Back then, the company told us, “Mr. Epstein’s crimes are abhorrent we do not believe he was ever employed by nor served as an authorized representative of the company.”That facility was built in part with a $5 million donation funded by Wexner’s charitable foundations and Epstein’s private foundation. Late last year, survivors of sexual abuse and former student-athletes called for Wexner's name to be removed from the building, but the university has refused.in connection with Epstein, a label that had previously been redacted.
