Tide head coach Oats feels Miller will be ready for Saturday game

Alabama coach Nate Oats said Friday he believes star forward Brandon Miller will play in Saturday night’s NCAA tournament game against Maryland, but indicated it is not guaranteed because of

“I think he’s smart enough to know if he can go or not and help us,” Oats said. “If he can’t, the good thing about our team is we’ve got a lot of depth.

Saturday’s second-round game in Legacy Arena is the final of the night for the tournament, tipping off at 8:40 p.m. CT in Birmingham.
