Comedian who's a hit on TikTok has been selling out shows on his 'Problematic' tour.
Rife’s shows have been selling out almost immediately, creating a Taylor Swiftian uproar among his fans, even though he’s a basically buff guy who tells jokes, not the biggest pop star in the universe.
Rife, 27, got his start on the rap and comedy show “Wild 'N Out,” though things didn’t really get wild for him until he started posting clips from his club shows on TikTok, where he now has more than 14 million followers. If tickets to Rife’s shows prove impossible to get, two more comedy shows go on sale Thursday morning.
• Dane Cook, the stand-up comic who blew up in the early '00s with best-selling albums, “Saturday Night Live” hosting gigs and movie roles, brings his “Perfectly Shattered” tour to the Majestic on Oct. 28. The presale code is COOK. • And former “SNL” cast member Rob Schneider will be at the Charline McCombs Empire Theatre on Oct. 28 with his show “The Narcissist Confessions.” Presale code is ROB.
