Tia Mowry Slams Post-Pregnancy Bounce Back Culture, Says to Allow ‘Bodies to Just Be’
pushed back at the thought of needing to get her pre-baby body back stat and encouraged other moms to treat their bodies with the love and respect they deserve.
“I think instead, we can look at our bodies and love and acknowledge them for keeping us alive and keeping our babies alive,” she captioned the photos. “Mamas, we can allow our bodies to just BE while we nourish them with good things, instead of buying into the snapback culture.” This isn’t the first time the mom of two has opened up about her feelings around pregnancy. She recently posted a throwback photo rocking blue and white bikini bottoms with a long-sleeve bikini top, showing off her pregnant belly and throwing up peace signs.
“Absolutely love this photo and the raw beauty behind it,” she captioned the image. “A woman’s body is so beautiful y’all, and the fact that it can produce a human life is so precious. I’m blessed that I had the ability, and I hope all future mothers out there never stop giving up.” This content is imported from Instagram.
