Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns winger Thuso Phala says Orlando Pirates will not be competitive without key three players. With three wins and two draws, Pirates players have hit the ground running giving them an advantage. Phala, who had success at Platinum Stars and SuperSport United, said the Buccaneers would find it tough if they lost Mofokeng, Mabasa and Maswanganyi.
“I think with my Sunday social team, we can try to challenge them . They can defeat us, but we will try to put up a fight and challenge them.“For me, without those three players, nothing good will happen .” The Sharks have to do something quite rare and pull off a result against the Bulls at Loftus Versfeld if they are to reach the Currie Cup final.
