Published: Jul. 17, 2024, 3:40 p.m."At 3:29 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located 8 miles north of Woodville, or 12 miles northwest of Scottsboro, moving east at 25 mph," states the weather service. "Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees."
