People are being warned to stay indoors in air-conditioned locations when possible during the hottest hours of the afternoon and be sure to keep an eye on pets and vulnerable family members. The valleys and Inland Empire will see scorching temps, hitting about 110 in many areas on Saturday with a 10% chance of rain. Similar temps are on tap for Monday.
