Lorenzi notes that the Thunder's medical team was present for the process.

The team didn't get any further than it had during its lone season with Chris Paul at point guard , when it fell in the second round to the eventual conference champion Dallas Mavericks.But Williams played a smaller role on that squad than he had in years prior.
