An abusive thug has lost his "ridiculous" battle to get back the sofa he attacked his terrified victim on.
The 41-year-old from East Kilbride was caught on camera attacking his ex-partner during a three-year campaign of abuse. He was jailed for 27 months last year for leaving her mentally and physically scarred. But he has been told he must pay the woman £2145 to cover her expenses.The woman, who has been left with anxiety and panic attacks, said she is pleased the sheriff “had the good sense” to throw out his “ridiculous control tactic”.
