This looked absolutely magic 😍
Out of all the incredible attractions that were on offer at the Glasgow Garden Festival in 1988, few if any are as fondly recalled as the Coca-Cola Roller.
Reaching speeds of up to 50mph, the legendary ride's initial drop was so intense that punters experienced acceleration forces equal to five times that of normal gravity. It really was the ultimate white knuckle ride. Now, thanks to YouTuber mrjbroberts, those brave souls who rode the coaster back in '88 can relive the thrill and terror of the Coca-Cola Roller all over again.
Commenting on the clip, Caity Hazel wrote: "This roller coaster was awesome! I was only 10 at the time! My cousin and my grandad got stuck at the top half way for half an hour when the mechanism jammed lol!" Alexander Fraser commented: "Loved that roller coaster! My grandparents had a café setup at the festival so I was there a lot, I was only 8 at the time and I can remember it like yesterday!"
