Police say the fatal shootings of a woman and two men within three hours Friday night in East Oakland are not related.

OAKLAND — A woman and two men were shot to death in a three-hour span Friday night in East Oakland, authorities said.Investigators said the shootings are not related, even though two of them were just a few blocks apart .

A 52-year-old man, who also resided at the home and who investigators said was the person who called police, was being detained for questioning Saturday. His name has not yet been released. A gun was recovered at the home, police said. About 8:38 p.m. Friday a 38-year-old San Francisco woman was found fatally shot inside a parked car in the 6900 block of International Boulevard. Her name has not yet been released.

And less than an hour earlier, about 7:48 p.m. Friday, a 29-year-old man from Montclair in Southern California was fatally shot as he was leaving a liquor store in the 7200 block of International Boulevard. His name has not yet been released.
