Three parishes in Penang declared centennial heritage

The State Government awarded the Penang Centennial Heritage Excellence Award 2022 to three parishes in the diocese – the Minor Basilica of St Anne, Bukit Mertajam, Church of the Holy Name of Jesus, Balik Pulau, and the Church of the Assumption, Penang.

The Chief Minister of Penang presented the awards to members of the Penang Diocesan Catholic Heritage Committee on January 5, 2023, at the Eastern and Oriental Hotel, Penang.
