Liverpool Airport announced earlier today that all flights have been temporarily suspended
Three flights have been diverted from Liverpool John Lennon Airport to Manchester Airport following a 'power failure'.
As a result, several flights that were supposed to land at Liverpool Airport have been diverted to nearby Manchester Airport. The first flight to be diverted was an easyJet flight from Jersey, which arrived at Manchester Airport 33 minutes later than scheduled, after being in the air for one hour and 23 minutes.READ MORE: I've just moved to Liverpool and this is how I spent my first week
The third flight was a Jet2 flight from Palma de Mallorca, which was supposed to arrive at Liverpool Airport at 2pm, but instead landed at Manchester Airport at 2.30pm.
