The next DWP cost of living payment will see millions of households across the UK get £300 - with many people waiting for this additional support to ease their struggles. The costs of food, rent, energy, clothing, dental treatment and car repairs are among the regular issues raised, Birmingham Live reports.
Mark Nalder, payments strategy and performance director at Nationwide Building Society, said: "As we enter the autumn, households will hope for some respite before the return of colder weather and the need to heat homes once again. While energy costs have dipped from their peak last year, the return of high utility bills will not be a welcome sight for many. Just as we saw last year, we expect many to cut back into their discretionary spending in order to manage their budgets.
Depending on your bank and how it pays in account credits, you may be able to access it - or see it in pending payments - on the night before.
