YANGON (Eleven Media Group/Asia News Network): A fire broke out in a house in Obo Village, Amarapura Township, Mandalay Region, at around 11pm on Tuesday (Aug 22), causing three deaths.

YANGON : Three residents in a house in Obo Village, Amarapura Township, Mandalay Region were killed in a fire that broke out at around 11pm on Tuesday . Myanmar Social Aid Organization reported that firefighters rushed to the scene to put out the fire and carry out search and rescue work. Receiving the information about the fire at about 10pm, 30 fire brigade members and 70 auxiliary fire brigade members along with eight fire engines and five water bowsers went to the scene. The fire was brought under control at 11.20pm.The fire destroyed two houses including one where the fire started.
