Two of the defendants are juveniles charged as adults
Rafael Martinez, 18, Rizvan Rastogor, 17, and Damien Lucero, 17, have been charged for the March 9 shooting at the Quality Inn and Suites, 3300 Ouray St., according to the Adams County District Attorney’s Office. A fourth defendant in the case was charged as a juvenile and was not identified.
Martinez, Rastogor and Lucero also face three counts each of attempted first-degree murder. Rastogor and Lucero are also charged with possession of a handgun by a juvenile. The juvenile defendant has been charged with accessory to a crime and possession of a handgun by a juvenile. The victim who was shot dead was a 16-year-old. Three shooting victims, including two women, ages 20 and 19, survived the incident.
Martinez’ next court appearance is schedule on March 29, with Rastogor’s and Lucero’s scheduled on March 31.
