One of the defendants allegedly wrote he wanted to track down a man who stole one of the guns and “kill him and his whole family and eat cereal in his bed.”
SAN FRANCISCO — Three Contra Costa men were sentenced to probation and prison in connection with what prosecutors called an “extremely serious” gun trafficking ring that resulted in dozens of firearms being seized.
In undercover purchases and raids, federal authorities seized 86 firearms during the investigation of the three defendants, prosecutors wrote in a sentencing memo. They also found Instagram messages where Walker is alleged to have offered a $1,500 bounty for a person who stole one of his guns, writing that he wanted to “kill him and his whole family and eat cereal in his bed,” prosecutors said.
“I don’t intend to ever touch a firearm or any type of ammunition ever again,” he wrote. “I wish I could go back and not do any of it. Even though it resulted in my arrest, I am relieved that the guns I sold were to agents. It’s a blessing the guns were taken off the streets.”
