A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
The four people were killed following a house fire on Westbury Road, Bradford Four people who died in a house fire in Bradford in the early hours of this morning have been named. They have been named as 29-year-old Bryonie Gawith and children Denisty, nine, Oscar, five and Aubree Birtle, 22 months, by West Yorkshire Police. Floral tributes have been paid to the four following the devastating house fire and a card was left at the scene addressed to them.
‘I was scared to go up there to see because you don’t know what’s happening. ‘It’s a massive thing that’s gone on. It’s scary.’ Another local resident reported hearing what sounded like a panic alarm during the time of the fire and then saw blue lights flashing. Many in the area have described what has happened as ‘awful’ and horrendous’. Detective Chief Inspector Stacey Atkinson said: ‘This is an absolutely devastating incident in which three children and a woman have lost their lives.
