The arrests are in connection with a secuirty alert on the Antrim Road in May and a shooting incident
A woman and two men have been arrested as part of an operation investigating criminality linked to the North Belfast INLA.
Following a number of searches of properties in the Crumlin, Newtownabbey and North Belfast areas, a 49-year-old woman and two men aged 22 and 36 have been arrested on suspicion of a number of offences.They have since been taken to the Musgrave Police Station Serious Crime Suite to be questioned. The PSNI says the operation was carried out by officers "investigating criminality linked to the north Belfast Irish National Liberation Army".
