PASCAGOULA , Miss. - A threatening note with a bullet was found in the bathroom at Ingalls Shipbuilding on Thursday morning, according to Pascagoula Police Chief Terry Scott. Ingalls released the following statement about the threat: “Earlier today, Ingalls Shipbuilding management discovered a written communication that was perceived as a potential threat.
Our team immediately notified local law enforcement and initiated an investigation into the matter. Operations at the shipyard continue as normal, while local law enforcement work to determine the origin of the threat. We are cooperating closely with law enforcement to address this incident with the utmost seriousness and to ensure the safety of our people.
