President Joe Biden’s campaign has declared “no one is above the law” in response to former president Donald Trump’s guilty verdict.

As Donald Trump lashed out against his guilty verdict, Joe Biden’s campaign called the former president a threat to democracy.

Shortly after, the Biden-Harris campaign released an official statement on the verdict: “Donald Trump has always mistakenly believed he would never face consequences for breaking the law for his own personal gain". “I think it’s going to be pretty difficult for a low-level felony to result in jail time for a former president with all that entails," he told First Edition host Peter Stefanovic.
