A threat has forced several Joliet schools to switch to remote learning Monday.
Michelle GallardoA threat has forced Joliet Public School District 86 to switch to remote learning Monday, while Joliet Township High School will stay open.The threat appears to have originated online according to the Joliet Police Department and although at this point they are saying there is no credible evidence to support the threat, there are a variety of measures being taken to make sure students are safe.
This, as according to the districts the threat that is circulating states that, "All schools in Joliet will have 2 students with a weapon inside each school."
