The outages were the result of thunderstorms and winds that were affecting almost all of central Pennsylvania.

Several areas within Dauphin County are currently without power after severe thunderstorms moved through the area.shows another affected area in Dauphin County – near Union Deposit Road, Grove Road and Lyters Lane – and says 488 people currently do not have power. PPL estimates the power will be restored by midnight and listed the cause of the outage as a “tripped breaker or blown fuse.”
