Saturday, thousands of people marched their way into Cleveland MetroParks Zoo for an important cause.

Many cheered as they remembered their loved ones, and others held the names of those directly affected by the devastating disease close to them.People Brandt said everyone she knows is connected to someone living with or who passed away from Alzheimer’s or Dementia. “To truly see my aunt go from somebody that I loved and loves me and gives you kisses and everything to not knowing who you are its honestly devastating” said Brandt.Camren Harris with the Alzheimer’s Association told 19 News they are now closer than ever to getting a cure.
