The transfer will take place starting in February 2023
Lincolnshire NHS leaders have confirmed that around 3,000 patients at Spalding GP surgery will be transferred across several practices instead of just one from next month.
Patients of Spalding GP surgery will be sent a letter in the coming weeks confirming which GP practice their registration will be transferred to, and the date when this will take effect. The letter will also provide information to patients about what happens next, and what they need to do if they would prefer to register themselves with an alternative GP practice.
Beechfield Medical Centre on Beechfield Gardens in Spalding. The practice intends to open their additional premises, Beechfield West Medical Centre, at the former Pennygate Surgery premises in February 2023Patients at Spalding GP Surgery should continue to access services at Johnson Community Hospital as normal. It is planned for the transfer to take place in a phased approach starting in February.
