HUNDREDS of thousands of dangerous tablets have been taken off the streets of Glasgow.
today revealed more than 200,000 street Valium tablets were recovered across the city in just three months between April and June 2023.
It details seizures of cannabis, cocaine, heroin and street Valium across the country as part of action by officers which saw millions of pounds worth of illegal drugs recovered. Detective Chief Superintendent Vicky Watson said: “Police Scotland has a vital role in preventing illicit drugs reaching our streets and disrupting the nefarious activities of those engaged in serious organised criminality.
