A boil water advisory has been issued for all of Washington D.C.
Residents of Washington, D.C., have been told not to drink their water unless it is boiled first, as the Fourth of July holiday begins.The District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority issued a Boil Water Advisory to residents living in the District of Columbia, as well as for the Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery and Reagan National Airport.It said that a drop in the water supply from the Washington Aqueduct means the quality of the water is not currently known.
These organisms include bacteria, viruses, and parasites that can cause symptoms such as nausea, cramps, diarrhea and associated headaches. They may pose a greater health risk for infants, young children, the elderly, and people with severely compromised immune systems.'The symptoms above are not only caused by microbes in drinking water. If you experience any of these symptoms and they persist, you may want to seek medical advice.
