This week's winner is Thomas Worthington field hockey player Sophia Borghese.
Borghese had two goals, including the game-winner, and an assist in a 3-2 overtime win over Watterson in the state championship game.Freshman Amiya Bowles wins Bexley girls tennis team's first state singles title since 1982 Borghese received 70% of the vote and was followed by Watterson football player Zack Weber, who had 15.9% of the votes. Next was New Albany football player Christian Manville , Grandview soccer player Danny Claypool and Columbus East football player Solomon Vaughn .Columbus high school news in your inboxClaypool scored two goals in a 3-0 win over Toledo Ottawa Hills in the state championship game.Vaughn had nine receptions for 189 yards and a touchdown in a 41-22 loss to Steubenville.
