As the most nominated male artist at the 2020 ACM Awards, Thomas Rhett had a lot to live up to on Wednesday night -- and with the help of Jon Pardi, the country superstar delivered, with a rousing performance of their shared hit “Beer Can’t Fix.” Sharing the stage at the Ryman Auditorium, Rhett and Pardi demonstrated a sense of swagger, with the former flashing his pearly whites on the opening verse before Pardi danced onstage with an acoustic guitar."Come on, Jon!" Rhett called, and soon the side-by-side duet was in full bloom, with even some country line dance moves during the bridge., “Beer Can’t Fix” has been another hit for the singer-songwriter, reaching No. 6 on the Hot Country Songs chart and No. 36 on the Hot 100.
Rhett entered Wednesday night nominated for four ACM Awards, including entertainer of the year. He already won the video of the year trophy for the “Remember You Young” clip. The ACM Awards are produced by dick clark productions, which is owned by MRC Media, the parent company of Billboard.
