Some big names and old favorites will take the stage in Anchorage this weekend. Rap-rock revolutionaries Limp Bizkit will perform at the Alaska Airlines Center, and Pink Martini returns. Also, the annual Ship Creek cleanup means fishing season is right around the corner. Local artist Indra Arriaga Delgado launches her new book with an immersive experience showcasing the collection of intaglio prints titled “Opaque Etymologies” and the recording of selected poems in English, Spanish and Nahuatl in this event. It’s free to the public.Annual Ship Creek Spring CleanupThe 11th annual Ship Creek Cleanup is expected to draw more than 100 people to help preserve the area and prepare it for fishing season. Matson is supplying trash grabbers and wheelbarrows.
