In the early stages of spring camp, Jim Knowles has already made quite an impression on the Buckeye players, coaches, media, and fans. Perhaps his most head-turning comment for Ohio State devotees this week was when he declared the free safety in his defense would now be referred to as"the adjustor," while the boundary safety that was previously called “bullet” is now called “bandit.
Knowles spoke at length about his responsibility as a coach to not only create lessons that stick, but also appeal to a generation of players that craves logic in each of their assignments.
