"Armani really wanted to have a very long, straight eyelash that doesn't go up and doesn't go down," explained Johan Lundin, international marketing director for Giorgio Armani. "This morning, we straightened them using a spoon and blow-dryer and a little bit of brow gel for some hold."
Considering the show itself was all about a glamorous '90s look, the fashion also mirrored the drama of the beauty look: Models walked down the runway and stopped to spin in slow motion to show off the intricate beadwork, luxurious fabrics, and stunning, sparkling gowns that paid tribute to the codes of the house of Armani.The hair also had a '90s, vintage sensibility. Aldo Coppola's team created slicked-back, sculptural works of art on the backs of models' heads.
