One of the 2004 Wisconsin quarters with an additional low leaf was auctioned for a record $6,000 I January 2020.
The coin was released on Oct. 25, 2004 and was the 30th in the 50th State Quarters Program and the fourth released that year. Launched in 1999, the State Quarters Program was a 10-year initiative that honored each of the 50 states. The U.S. Mint issued five new quarters each year in the order that the states ratified the Constitution or were admitted into the Union.
