Escape rooms were, well, inescapable in the 2010s, and they’re still a pretty popular group activity today. While the themes can range from treasure hunting to a fantasy setting, horror rooms are one of the most popular styles, so it’s no surprise that Hollywood eventually capitalized on the trend with Adam Robitel’s Escape Room in 2019.
