The Spanish sci-fi horror film is a prequel to 2019′s “The Platform” , which follows prisoners living in a tall tower with one cell per level. The residents of this “Vertical Self-Management Center” can eat only from a platform that descends from the top all the way to the bottom and makes two-minute stops on each level.Although the first film received mostly positive reviews, critics had more mixed responses to “The Platform 2.
Set in 1930s Oklahoma, the movie follows a mother who becomes convinced her family is being haunted amid horrific dust storms in the regions. “Hold Your Breath” premiered on Sept. 12 at the Toronto International Film Festival and was released on Hulu on Oct. 3.“Salem’s Lot” is the top movie on Max at the moment. The supernatural horror film also made its streaming debut on Oct. 3.
