Balled-up socks have finally met their match in Roborock's Saros Z70.
It was only a matter of time before robot vacuums reached a new stage of evolution. Over the years, they have become faster, smarter, and can even climb. So, it should be no surprise to anyone here at CES 2025 that we’d see one that can sprout a claw arm to assist in its cleaning duties.
The Saros Z70 will run its regular cleaning routine and note things it can pick up. Once the initial cleaning is finished, it will circle back to pick up the item and carry it away. If you’re impatient, you can control the arm yourself via the app. A camera inside the arm makes picking up objects easier and gives it a fun carnival game vibe.
As you can see from the video, the AI-powered robot vacuum takes a long time to pick up and relocate the sock. However, if you run it overnight or when you’re away, it’s probably not that big of a deal. In addition to socks, the Saros Z70 should be able to handle small toys, towels, and slippers and put them back where they belong.
