It’s advertised to fast-charge to 80% power in under 45 minutes, with full charge at about an hour, meaning it won’t take long to get its juice up before you head with it outside or as a storm approaches. You can also pair it with the official Anker solar panel to keep it topped up even when you’re off the grid. Users have raved about the Anker C1000 Power Station, praising its reliability and versatility. ‘Didn’t take long to need one. Ran the fridge with no issues. It also ran the garage door motor smoothly. If you buy one, definitely get the BP1000 battery. Some fridges will constantly run at 130W (the one I was powering did) and that will get you 11 hours in total. Cut the time in half without the BP1000. The other thing to note, if you are charging it with a gas generator/inverter (Ryobi RYI2200 for example), you will have to ground the generator for it to work. Most generators have a grounding lug. To bad I can’t say the same for power company.” — The Anker C1000 power station has powered my K-Cup coffee maker rated at 1400 watts effortlessly. Also tested with oil filled space heater in bedroom which runs at 600 or 1500 watts and it heated up quickly set at the maximum. However due to the C1000 1056 watt hour rating the heater would run about 3/4 hour at most. On the other hand my dual control king sized electric mattress pads would go all night as they only draw 300 watts max with both sides but like a refrigerator it doesn’t run continuously thus the extended time. Same can be said for the oil filled heater. Finally it will power my refrigerator (also runs intermittently) for a good 12-24 hours during a power failure as long as the door is not regularly opened to look at the menu. In sum this battery’s light weight would make it a perfect companion to a “go bag”/camping trip while also easily powering a 20 cubic foot refrigerator all night or longer during a power outage. Coupled with it’s solar charging capability it’s a very nice emergency power source.”
