The significantly reduced build time means the owner will receive their one-off as soon as 2025. has been kept tightly under wraps—until now, that is. Originally commissioned by a private owner, the vessel is being built byYachts in Genoa, Italy.
As for grunt, Project Secret will be equipped with a hybrid propulsion system that offers greater fuel efficiency than diesel engines alone. The yacht can cruise at 10 knots in full-electric mode or use the batteries to power the hotel load silently for eight to 12 hours. “It’s different from other systems in that the two 300 kW electric motors are in line with the main engines, so it’s more compact and efficient than other hybrid systems,” Poerio adds.
