Frustrated that many of his military buddies were struggling with homelessness, Jeremy Robinson is riding his horse Trooper across Texas to bring awareness to the issue and launch a campus to house veterans.

U.S. Army veteran Jeremy Robinson could no longer stand by while his military buddies struggled with homelessness and it became a call to action.seems to be at an acceptable range and to me that is not acceptable,” Robinson said. “We shouldn’t be able to galavant through any decent-sized town and find a veteran under a bridge. That shouldn’t be a guarantee.

It is his hope to develop a campus where veterans can live, participate in therapy and learn job skills to get back on their feet. Robinson, who lives in Montgomery, first started “Ride for Rally Point” on Veteran’s Day 2022. He began in Huntsvilleon Interstate 45. He then traveled through east Texas stopping at cowboy churches and VFW posts along the way speaking to all he met.

Robinson has had Trooper since the horse was three days old and the two have grown even closer on this state-crossing ride.
