My “why” hasn’t changed much, if at all over the years. I am a runner. It’s in my DNA. Of course, I am prepared for the day I might not be able to run but honestly I don’t think it will ever happen. It makes me feel alive—the feel of the wind on my face, the sound of my feet hitting the pavement, the smell of nature, and of course, there is no better time to think than when you are running. It’s very freeing for your brain because your body is occupied and fulfilled by the movement.
