The mishaps, as known by anyone who has ever unknowingly left their house with visible panty lines or ripped open the ass of their pants while bussing tables at an Outback Steakhouse , are panic-inducing. There is, however, one indisputably perfect way to handle a sartorial snafu, as conceived this weekend by none other than Cardi B.
During her Bonnaroo performance on Sunday night, Cardi experienced a fairly extreme wardrobe malfunction — her skintight jumpsuit ripped while she was twerking. But the rapper, being familiar with the necessary protocol, didn’t waste time ruminating on the unplanned outfit change. Instead, she escorted herself offstage and swiftly returned wearing a Tony Soprano–inspired outfit: a white robe.
“We gonna keep it moving, baby,” she called out into the audience. “We gonna keep it sexy. I don’t know how in this fucking robe, but we gonna do it!”
