Temperatures on Christmas Eve are expected to be in the high 70s to low 80s ahead of Santa’s visit to San Antonio.If you have outdoor plans for mom’s special day, make sure she has a cool drink in her hand and rests in the shade or AC.

The service shows that it will be hot on Mother’s Day as well, and the heatwave could continue through the middle of May. On Monday, the high is forecast to be 98, one degree higher than the May 9 record of 97, set in 2008.Saturday’s high also tied for the eighth earliest 100-degree on record for San Antonio.
