Showing your marked thumb will get you a free cup of coffee at any Wimpy on 8 May.

The chain says voting is a responsibility, and it wants to show appreciation for those who shoulder it.On Wednesday, 8 May, every Wimpy across South Africa will give you a free cup of coffee just for showing up and showing your thumb. An indelible-ink mark that shows you voted in South Africans national and provincial elections will entitle you to that cup of what is formally known as Wimpy Famous Coffee, a filter coffee that Wimpy normally sells for 10 cents shy of R20.
