Dexter Morgan death in New Blood finale
One of the more surprising revelations from San Diego Comic-Con was the news that Michael C. Hall would be returning to his most famous role in Dexter: Resurrection. After the critically panned series finale of Dexter in 2013, audiences were given the chance of a proper send-off to the titular murderer with a revival series in 2021.

Dexter is no stranger to clunky plot lines and as the series trudges on, the quality of Dexter seemingly diminished in each subsequent season. Rehashing the death fake-out, again, would not start the newly announced Dexter: Resurrection on a solid foundation.
