Now that the rainy season has begun, hot meals like porridge and congee are once again in vogue among Filipinos.
In fact, there's a popular goto place in San Juan, Batangas that became viral for the one-of-a-kind goto it serves.
As seen in Mav Gonzales's report on "24 Oras Weekend," Sunday, each goto bowl is filled with a rich soup and generous toppings of meat and innards. But its star ingredient is the huge beef ribs producing from the bowl, which was dubbed "dinosaur-like" by customers. "Lahat ng parte ng baka na pwede mong [isama] lahat ay niluluto namin," said Oliver Marasigan, the owner of Oliver's Goto. The business has been attracting patrons even from far-away places, like Metro Manila and other provinces."Talaga pong authentic na gotong Batangas," said one customer.
