has proven that it can be both practical and fun and in a new video we see a lightly tuned unit set a new drag racing record. And that new record speed makes this tuned little truck a lot quicker than some cars that are specifically built for speed., this Ford Maverick belongs to David Buschur, the man at the helm of Burschurs LLC. The company specializes in performance parts that make all sorts of different cars faster than they are in stock form.
Its modification list includes a catch can, a front-mount intercooler, a 3-inch intake, a cat-back exhaust, and on 93-octane pump gas. While there’s no mention of current horsepower levels, we do know that last year, Buschur found that the intake alone netted him some 26 whp and 17 lb-ft of torque.It’s also worth noting that there’s certainly more room for improvement on that quarter-mile time. Buschurs LLC could add a more capable turbocharger and throw some E85 in the mix as well. Of course, before doing that, this little truck is already very fast compared to a lot of other fast cars.
